In the past quarter KSDT has begun to sponser concerts at the Che Cafe, some free and some for charity. On February 22nd we sponsered a show at the Che to benefit the San Diego Rape Crisis Center with Jack's Broken Heart headlining. The show cost only five dollars, and all proceeds went to the charity. It more than sold out, with us having to turn people away at the door after the venue filled to capacity. All the bands were awesome, the crowd was happy, and the show was a great success!

Our second Che show during winter quarter took place on March 16th, and had Smile headlining with Melee and Limbeck opening. This concert was free to everyone, and gathered another huge crowd. Melee got the show off to an amazing start, surprising us all with how excellent they were! Then Limbeck put on a great show, everyone was way into them. Smile was an awesome headliner, playing a very cool set and totally satisfying the audience. It was a super fun show that everyone enjoyed, and we plan on sponsering many more free shows like it this quarter!

In addition to the Che shows, we are also putting togther bands for a Price Center show. This will definitely be free, and will hopefully gather a huge crowd, considering we are looking into getting some pretty big bands. No plans are concrete yet, so date and time are not yet known, but be sure to keep checking our website for announcements and details about this upcoming show and others.
